With an MA in Financial Economics he set off to live and work in Hong Kong in 1993, then returning to the UK in 1998. John is the Founder of Market Position and enjoys getting his teeth into all aspects of an instiutional or international finance subject, with years of due diligence experience across a variety of funds, direct investments and commodity trade. Since 2019 he has also worked in the physical trade of minor metals and ores.

Founder of Edale and Bondsmart; Lawrie worked in senior positions across private asset management for 20 years, his deep knowledge of financial marketing and specialist wealth management products has been a great asset to Market Position for over 10 years.
